The Heritage Life Enrichment team had the pleasure of making one of our residents wishes come true. While doing our resident Life Enrichment profiles , one of the questions was ” if you could have one wish what would it be”? Mardie replied “to have my photo taken with a goat”.

The reason behind her wish is: every time you ask her “how are you today Mardie?” she replies “not bad for an old goat”

🙂 Of course we had to make her wish come true. We took Mardie and a bus load of residents to a local winery ‘Off the Grid’

where they have sheep, chickens, turkeys and GOATS.

The JOY Mardie felt that day was felt by fellow residents and a gift to Heritage’s LEA, Kim.

Sing for Your Life presents Summer Serenade

Sing for Your Life, in partnership with The Heritage Retirement Resort, presents a great night of entertainment featuring live music by Fine Tuned and nibbles from Canada’s Cheese Ambassador, David Beaudoin! The event will on the beautiful patio at the Heritage Retirement Residence (3630 Brown Road, West Kelowna), Wednesday, August 7, 2019, 7-9 pm. There will be a cash bar on site and a silent auction with great local items to take home.

All proceeds of this amazing event will support Silver Song Groups and allow Sing for Your Life to continue to bring the proven wellness benefits of participatory-singing and music-making to seniors in our community.
